What is the Purpose of YOFE? |
|
The main purpose of the fund is to:
Give a voice and influence to young people, particularly disadvantaged young people, in relation to things they want to do and places they want to go. Our aim is to convey a powerful message to young people that their needs and aspirations are important.
Increase the well-being of young people by contributing to the achievement of the Every Child Matters outcomes.
Increase young people’s engagement with services and with the democratic process at local level.

Who decides what gets funding? |
A group of Young People have been selected and given Youth Bank training. These Young People will be involved with the decision making process.
Adult youth workers will support their roles as grant givers, e.g. by encouraging the groups to consider local needs and circumstances for young people beyond their immediate group.
if you feel you could represent your community, group or peers, then text ‘I want to be involved in the grant group’ to 07983965396, or email us at
